Child Molester Shot By His Father

With all of the talk about no punishment is to cruel or unusual for child molesters and killers, I thought I'd post this from the Detroit Free Press. It happened just the other day. Apparently this 15 year old boy was doing something with his 3 year old sister. Dad took him out back and shot him. The mother is playing down what happened with the 3 year old, but it was enough for the father to go over there, beat the kid, then shoot him in the head.
I'm sure alot more is going to come out, but I don't know what to think...it's such a messed up situation.

I have to believe that every single member of this family, living or deceased, is a victim of abuse, including both parents.

That a young teen could perpetrate sexual behavior on his toddler sibling is horrific enough, but that his own father then stripped him naked before executing him in front of the woman that carried and delivered him is beyond belief. As in WTF? That act of stripping before execution? Isn't that just slightly sexually deviant behavior on the father's part as well? I say yes, and contend it is pretty likely that either the first child experienced abuse by the father and practiced similar behavior on the younger child, or, witnessed his father's deviant behavior mimicking it against the younger sibling. The cycle of abused becoming abuser. And perhaps the mother is not so mush downplaying the incident as stuck in denial ,or, still living in fear of either physical or societal reprisals; all common reactions from women in abusive situations. If we can accept that we have to ask, who abused the father in the first place, teaching him to become an abuser ? Not that any of these questions to anything but make your head spin faster and your stomach turn harder. I wish I had never read this story.

I read this when the story first came out. What I can't get out of my head is how a mother could stand by and let someone, anyone, let alone the father, murder her own son in front of her. I don't know the background or the history of this family but I can tell you that I would have fought tooth and nail and thrown myself in front of my son before I would let that happen.
