Project Runway

I think it will be Irina. I am not impressed with any of the pieces they showed this week for their big NY show. UGH. I hope they were showing some pieces that will be reworked. I am bummed about Gordanna. I felt she was an underdog with a lot of potential. She also made me tear up and tugged at my heartstrings on her last project (the dress that was from a spiritual place for her).
I have CDO. It's like OCD but all the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be....

I'd like to think that Irina will win - unless Althea really manages to pull an upset with her Fashion Week designs.
Michael and Nina were really specific with their advice for the finalists.
Irina had better produce some spectacular, cutting-edge designs to win, considering that all of her looks are in black. Without the contrast of color, her 13 models just might blend together.
I also think that Giordanna should have been chosen over Carol Hannah, simply on the level of craftmanship and finishing. G's designs were good - wearable and stylish. Carol Hannah - not so much. :geek:

I thought Althea should have won. I felt that her collection was more wearable all around. :bolt:

I was glad to see Irina winning. Her season-long level of creativity and skill was really impressive. I liked the other two, but I feel Irina really understood and produced a total "look" for the runway - that finish and completion of detail goes a long way. Holding to black was pushing it, but only because optically, black is difficult to read on runway and pictorials. She deserved to win. Now she needs to work on her personality. :geek:
